[RESOLVED] misleading F-secure notification ** UPDATE **

Category: bug report

This notification of the virusscanner is a so called...

false positive. A false positive is a virus detection of something appearing to be a virus or trojan, but actually isn't.

The notification appears after the F-secure virusscanner is (automatically) updated with the newest virus recognition files.

Files that generated this notification were replaced by a new version, that will not produce the false positive detection.

Up until today known notifications were:

  • Trojan.Win32.VB.dkn
  • Email-Worm.Win32.Zhelatin.aan
